Certified Driving Instructor for over 10 years and recipient of the Daily Progress Readers' Choice Best Instructor of 2023 award.  

I grew up in State College, PA, and graduated from Penn State University where I played and worked with the Nittany Lion football team. I met my wife at Penn State and we got married in 1998, moved to Florida for a few years, and settled in Virginia in 2001. We lived in Forest, VA for ten years and have now called Crozet our home for eleven years. We’re raising four incredible daughters: Asia (a grad student at UVA who works at St. Anne's-Belfield), Arianna (a sophomore at Virginia Tech), Natalie (a junior at Western Albemarle High School), and Ciciley (a seventh grader at Henley Middle School.)

I was a high school football coach and teacher for eighteen years before I started teaching driver's education full time. I’ve taught behind-the-wheel and classroom driver education for the past ten years.

I enjoy building relationships with my clients and watching them grow as drivers. It’s fulfilling to see the excitement when they earn their driver’s license. I hope you allow DRDS to help you reach this important milestone!
