I am from Orange County and live on a cattle farm where I spend much of my time
working and enjoying the peace and quiet of green pastures with my husband, Ronnie. We
married in 2015, and I was blessed to gain three wonderful step-kids, Caleb, Abigail, and Joseph.
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, have earned a blue belt in BJJ, enjoy
traveling, shooting (and practicing using Ace VR, and am a firearms instructor), and am a huge
DIY’er (my dad and I built my house on the family farm)! I graduated from JMU in 2000, and
recently earned a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice - Forensic Psychology from LU. I have
three dogs, lots of chickens, cows, and a horse on the farm to keep me busy as well.
I recently retired from law enforcement after 25 years of service, of which twenty-two
were spent with ACPD. During my career, I was a certified Driver Instructor for over 18 years
and taught officers basic driving skills, off-road recovery, emergency and pursuit driving, as well
as more advanced maneuvers. I look forward to using my teaching experience from my previous
career to assist students learn and build skills that will make them safe and confident drivers!
