I have lived in Central Virginia since I was a young child, growing up in Crozet and now residing in Fluvanna County. My wife Cassandra, and my daughter Isabella are accomplished horseback riders, and I can be found most every evening with them at the barn. Isabella is a student at Tandem and Cassandra is a Senior Investigator at a law firm.

I retired from the Albemarle County Police Department with 27 years of law enforcement. During my career I was able to work in multiple different roles. I really enjoyed teaching at the police academy as a driving instructor working with the new recruits as well as annual training for experienced officers. I am certified in advanced crash reconstruction, commercial vehicle and pedestrian crash reconstruction. As an officer assigned to the traffic unit I worked as a commercial vehicle inspector. My favorite role within the traffic unit was being a motorcycle officer.

I am looking forward to getting back into a teaching working with new drivers as part of the DRDS team.
