The following skills are taught during behind-the-wheel lessons: parking, backing up, switching lanes, negotiating intersections, speed control, making safe turns, proper and safe stopping and acceleration, avoiding collisions, merging and exiting highways, rules of passing, proper following distance, and much more! Each 100 minute session includes 50 minutes of driving and 50 minutes of peer observation.
